This Darjeeling tea macaron with yuzu is full of floral aromas and delicate flavors. It’s a great recipe for those who are looking to tackle a big-ish baking project. Even if you’re intimidated by the techniques don’t worry, because flops taste just as good as ones that turn out perfectly.

Chamomile Honey Almond Cake Inspired by Rupi Kaur
It’s been an interesting year for me with a lot of emotional ups and downs. For some reason, turing 30 suddenly made me feel very inadequate in both my personal and professional lives. I know there are no standardized life metrics, but I can’t help but feel like I’m not quite the person I thought I’d be by now. Pumpkin Coffee Muffins
I’m embarrassed to admit, but I love it when pumpkin spice products overflow the market. To me it 1. signifies the return of fall, 2. allows me to officially bring out the sweaters and scarves (although I haven’t been able to wear them quite yet in LA), and 3. reminds me of my best friend (a pumpkin spice mega fan) who’s still off living the dream in Europe. A Chocolate Chip Cookie Resuscitation
It’s been a crazy long time. Life has changed quite a bit since I last posted. It would take awhile to share everything, but in a nutshell: I graduated my Food Studies Master’s program, moved from NYC to LA, bought my first car, started a granola company (which is on hiatus right now, more on that another time), worked as a Product Manager for a bakery brand, turned the big 3-0 (still coming to terms with that), and adopted a sweet pup with my significant other (we named her Flower after the skunk in Bambi).
Yup. A lot has happened.

Beet Buns for Valentine’s Day
Hello again, it’s been awhile. Seven months seems like a long time to have been away, but it sure did go by fast. The last time I posted I was getting ready to move back to New York, and now here I am! It’s been such a whirlwind with so many lovely happenings that I don’t even know where to begin. I can only start by saying I’m really enjoying being back in the city, meeting new people, reuniting with old friends, and learning more about food everyday. It could not be better. And I’m cooking more!
